Swedish indie-folk sisters - First Aid Kit returned to Newcastle tonight with their most rebellious performance yet!
The gig booted up with special guests - The Staves, a completely heavenly prologue to the night, perfectly setting the tone for what was to come.
In a flash, First Aid Kit launched themselves onto the stage, lights up, one huge guitar riff and a plethora of the most euphonious vocals!
The sisters showcased their latest album - 'Rebel Heart', however as a fan of their older music, I was very much satisfied, singles like: 'Wolf', 'The Lion's Roar', even 'Emmylou', all of their classics!
First Aid Kit have the most charming vocals, the two sisters have such dynamic voices, both vast from the other. Johanna is splendid at creating higher pitched and melody-like inclinations with her voice, providing a brilliant and versatile voice. Whereas Klara is generally the main vocals on each track, her voice dominates the listener's mind as she entrenches us with her deep and enticing voice that captivates best when live on full display.
