Scottish synth-pop band - CHVRCHES blew the roof off the O2 Academy tonight in Newcastle debuting their latest album - 'Love Is Dead.'
Energetic and fierce, this entire performance had me believing that "love has never been more alive."
CHVRCHES have this incredible talent at creating so many songs that just get STUCK in your head!
The night began with their latest hit singles like: 'Get Out', 'Graves', 'Miracle' and 'Graffiti', just a few of the new album's highlights.
Catchy, rhythmic and upbeat, their synthetic-beats craft this unshakable urge to just dance and sing, even if you don't know the lyrics!
By melding synth and pop genres together, the trio have crafted something quite spectacular here!
As the night began to close, CHVRCHES brought out a few of their older hits like: 'Science/Visions', 'Leave A Trace', 'Recover' and of course, the most iconic - 'The Mother We Share'.
Lead-singer, Lauren Mayberry ended the night with the new albums launch single - 'Never Say Die', a truly perfect ending to an incredible, energetic and synthetic night of Scottish pop!
