Inspirational People

Zachary Levi

He is such an inspiration for me because he is a christian actor working within Hollywood, a not so good enviroment for the like. He raises money for those in need and places himself below everyone else, understanding that an actor is just that, an actor.

As a teenager, Stevens studied piana and oboe at Interlochen, a private Christian art school in Notheren Michigan, after school, Stevens determined that he wanted to be a writer.

Sufjan Stevens began his musical career as a member of Marzuki, a folk-rock band from Holland, Michigan. He also played (and continues to play) various instruments for Danielson Famile. While in school at Hope College, Stevens wrote and recorded his debut solo album, A Sun Came, which he released on asthmatic kitty records, a record label he founded with his step-father in 1999.

Stevens moved to New York were he released his 2nd album, following that he decided to create a 50 state project.

Many of Stevens’ songs have religious and spiritual allusions, but his album Seven Swans has the most direct religious references. Stevens has expressed that he is Christian, but does not overtly advertise this aspect of himself in his music. Stevens has also stated that he does not try to make music “with a message”, or music for the sake of preaching.

Sufjan Stevens is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, he was born in 1975, July 1st. Stevens was born and raised in the seedy suburbs of Detroit with three elder siblings.

Justin Vernon

Justin Vernon grew up in Eau Clair, Wisconsin, and played with the folk band DeYarmond Edison from 2002 through 2006. That year he broke up with the band and his girlfriend, got mononucleosis hepatitis, and retreated to a hunting cabin in Wisconsin, where he wrote and recorded the songs that became the first Bon Iver album, For Emma, Forever Ago.

The band is renound for its strong sense of loneliness and remoteness that also has some tragedy behind the songs, uncovering the actual life story of Justin Vernon in an expressive manor that literally anyone could relate to.

Justin moving on with his music; both physically and spiritully, he continued his travels around the United States, composing lyrical melodys uncovering a state or familiarity with the environment.

This is, in my opinion the best album that Steven's has produced, following its subliminal spiritual messages and revealations.

As a whole, Bon Iver has been my favourite band since I head the piece "Creature Fear" in an episode of "CHUCK", back in 2011. I fell in love with the composition and use of instruments to create such a tune.

The song actual relates to the future, the possibility of change both good and bad coming pretty fast, it seems inevitable. Justin calls this concept creature fear.

Bon Iver's most idyllic and popular song is "Skinny Love", relating to the troubles of a relationship.

The phrase skinny love means:

"when two people love each other, but are too shy to admit it, yet they show it anyway".
